We can confirm that the first piece of intel has become declassified: the official live experience, Line of Duty: Operation Echo, is coming to London in early 2027, and we, CityDays, are the team behind it. You won’t be watching this case, you’ll be investigating it.
As an official live experience of the hit TV show, we’ve been working in partnership with the licensors at ITV Studios to bring you into the world of Line of Duty and immerse you in a gripping case that asks as many questions as it solves.

YOUR INVESTIGATION, YOUR WAY
Operation Echo is the Line of Duty live experience that puts you and your team of 2-8 players in charge of your very own case. Together, you’ll sniff out corruption and investigate back streets, alleys, landmarks and more to get to the bottom of it.
Self-guided from start to finish, it’ll be up to you to decide what the truth is, who to trust, and which evidence to use to get you there. Along the way, you’ll be assisted by venerated AC-12 members, Hastings, Fleming and Arnott, who will provide you with strategic digital intelligence.
CHASE LEADS, UNCOVER THE TRUTH
No one said it’ll be easy. Each step you take on your journey to uncover the truth will lead you in one direction or another, but you’ll be in charge of paving the way.
From the moment you accept the case, your team will face navigational clues and riddles that lead you towards new locations where vital evidence may be lurking. You’ll leave no stone unturned as you visit pubs, and cafés to solve physical, escape room-style puzzles that will guide you towards your next breakthrough.
CHALLENGE THE EVIDENCE
During the experience, gathering evidence is only one part of the job.
Moral dilemmas, cryptic riddles and questionable intel stand in the way of you and truth: only you can decide what’s right and what, or who, is wrong. Handle a vast array of evidence ranging from visual, video and audio to phone messaging as the investigation progresses, and remember: you’re in charge.
All of your decisions have consequences and will alter the outcome of the investigation. Putting all of your eggs in the wrong basket may result in getting accused of “floating up the river Lagan in a bubble”.
STEP INTO THE INVESTIGATION
Line of Duty: Operation Echo is a live experience and is conducted entirely on foot (although step-free and dog-friendly routes will be available) over the course of 2-3 hours. During that time, teams will search, gather and scrutinise until they’re sure they’ve cornered the “right” culprit or culprits.
But it’s not all work and no play. Along the way, players will have the chance to stop at handpicked venues that offer them a chance to rest and recoup before hitting the streets again. The fate of the investigation is in your capable hands.
EARN YOUR STRIPES
At the end of your investigation, you’ll have decisions to make. Who is the guilty party? Why? How do you know? What will you do with the information you have? Only you can decide.
Your efforts won’t go unnoticed. Your team will be scored based on how you’ve performed and the outcome you achieve, and your results will be added to a leaderboard so you can compare.
Rankings matter in the force, but if you’d rather end up a Reckless Maverick over a Super Sleuth, that’s up to you…
